En Tu Cara literally translates to  "In Your Face".  This style of hand to hand and face to face  combat goes back to the Aztec empire where warriors frequently fought until death. Fortunately, our civilization has evolved and we are now able to enjoy  the spirit of hand to hand combat without  the loser suffering such drastic consequences.
